My first impressions when I got it !

I love that the teeth whitening trips came in 14 individual packages so that there was no cross contamination when I used them. I am a bit of a germophobe so that helped set my mind at ease.

Just before bed on the day I received the package, I followed the instructions and put a pair of thaw teeth whitening strips in. It took me a little while to get used to the taste and I found that I salivated a lot during that first try.

When the 30 minutes was up and I removed it, I noticed a few white spots on my teeth and panicked, thinking I had ruined my teeth. However, a little internet research told me that the white spots were due to my teeth drying out. The spots would disappear once my teeth rehydrated. This process was harmless to my teeth.

The rehydration process took a few hours and sure enough by the time I woke the next more, the spots were done.

My advice would be to use the teeth whitening strips at night so that the spots clear up while you sleep if you experience the same. You would not want to have to do daily tasks like going to work or the grocery store with white spots on your teeth.

By the third night of whitening my teeth at home, I had stopped salivating and did not even notice the taste anymore. My teeth are already lightened by 2 shaded by then, based on the shade guide, and the whitening only increased as the days went by.

But how do you use it ?

Ensure that your teeth are clean by flossing and rinsing out your mouth before using these whitening strips at home. Wipe your teeth clean with a napkin before applying the teeth whitening strips.

Grab one packet of the teeth whitening strips. With dry hands, peel off the backing then place one strip on your upper row of teeth, gel side against your teeth. Fold the remainder to the back of your teeth.

Repeat the process on your lower row of teeth.

Keep the teeth whitening strips in positions for 15 to 30 minutes.

Remove and dispose of the teeth whitening strips. Clean the gel off your teeth with your toothbrush.

Keep the rest of the teeth whitening strips stored in a cool place.
